Don’t just get fit, get TechFit! Tech-life expert Stephanie Humphrey is going to show you how you can use technology to help you create and maintain an overall wellness program. Now, while there is no substitution for good old-fashioned exercise and eating right, gone are the days of walking around the gym with a pencil and notecard, marking off sets and reps. And keeping a written food journal is so last century! Even exercise clothing and equipment have fully integrated the latest technological advances into the way they are designed and made.
But before we start our TechFit journey, please allow me to introduce myself. I’m Stephanie Humphrey, and if you’re wondering what exactly a tech-life expert is, well let me explain. The ‘tech’ part is covered by my B.S. in Electrical Engineering and M.S. in Telecommunications & Networking Engineering. The ‘life’ part comes in with my years of production and hosting experience as a lifestyle correspondent in television. You’re also getting some fairly good ‘fit’ background outta me as well, having previously been certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America in Group Fitness Instruction, teaching classes in the Philadelphia area.
Starting a fitness regimen can be intimidating and for some people, technology can be scary as well. Maintaining an overall wellness program can also be challenging, as can keeping up with the latest in tech advances. So that’s why I’m here – to try to make fitness a little easier while making technology a little less daunting. I’m excited about all the great information we’ll share, and I look forward to the journey towards good health!
